RN - Discharge Planner / Case Manager

The Discharge Planner / Case Manager, RN conducts admission, concurrent with retrospective utilization reviews for all assigned patients. This individual communicates with payers, physicians and the VP of Nursing Services, to facilitate appropriate admissions and discharges, and to promote a high quality of care while preventing under-utilization and over-utilization of hospital resources. This person conducts discharge-planning activities for assigned patients and completes data collection This person also is responsible for an active utilization review of all patient admissions and discharges, collaborates and facilitates on all Swing Bed admissions, maintains an active re-admission review program, and works closely with the VP of Nursing Services and the Nursing Leadership team to improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications are: Possess a Montana Register Nurse degree through accredited program. Current Montana R.N. license
2 years acute care experience, Training in patient assessment and identification of patient needs, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and a Current BLS or CPR certification (required), ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC and as indicated by work area, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (required within two years of hire).

Accounts Payable Clerk

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for completing the accounts payable for Northeast Montana Health Services and Wolf Point Clinic Association. Collect information from various departments to complete requisition. Completes requisitions utilizing the computer for information needed to ensure proper payment of each invoice and enter invoices into computer. Checks computer printouts to ensure that invoices have been entered properly and that no duplicates are being processed and print checks for invoices as directed. After checks are signed, mails payments to appropriate vendor within 24 hours and attaches the check stub to requisition and file by vendor for each entity within 48 hours. Accounts for voided checks and retain for auditors, works with vendors to settle accounts payable problems. Maintains current W-9's for vendors that require a 1099. Is responsible for maintaining cash logs, attains daily deposits and check registers from the entities and recording same, records the deposit in a cash log separated by account daily, compares the cash log to the bank statement monthly and, records checks written in a cash log separate by account daily. Answers all incoming calls to Accounts Payable department, answering any questions that pertain to accounts payable timely and mannerly. Is responsible for ordering supplies and materials for the Fiscal Office. Works with the Chief Financial Officer as required. Maintains donations account cash log and activity, maintains Grant account cash log and activity file and, maintains list of minor and major equipment purchased and reconcile to the General Ledger.

Medicaid Biller

The Medicaid Biller is responsible for the accurate completion and submission of Medicaid claims, and the Medicaid Ambulance claims for all campuses. Is acutely knowledgeable of the regulations involving Medicaid billing and is knowledgeable of the regulations regarding Passport to Health. Accurately and completely builds all UB forms and submits all claims to Medicaid and submits ambulance claims from all campuses. Completes all follow up of accounts and is also responsible for secondary billing, scanning documents as necessary. Assists patients with payment questions. Requests information necessary form patient and or agencies. Responds to all inquiries in a timely manner and obtains appropriate authorization to obtain information on patient's behalf.

Medicare Biller

The Medicare Biller is responsible for the proper transmission and follow-up of all Medicare claims, hospital, swing beds, and nursing home, assuring proper patient billing information including checking of coding and billing of medical supplies and coordinates with the extended campuses to assure proper and accurate billing information. Is responsible for the timely transmission of patient accounts., electronic billing, downloading, and sending for all insurances, Medicaid, and Medicare. Does Medicare ERA receiving and uploads for all facilities. Posts NH and hospital ERA for Medicare and does DDE corrections and request for info for all facilities. Takes care of all credit balances and rebilling for Medicare patients and scans documentation into computer system as necessary. Maintains QuickBooks system for Poplar NH-Swing Beds patients and completes the follow-up on accounts. Provides Supervisor with a written, accurate accounting of any unpaid claims. Is responsible for assisting patients with questions regarding the billing process and status of claim and obtains appropriate authorization to obtain information on a patient's behalf.

Job Summary: The RN Circulator provides patient-specific care to patients during the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases within this specialty area of nursing. Job Summary: The Surgical Technologist (ST) performs duties within the perioperative phases of care. The ST will perform a sterile scrub prior to surgery, set up instruments using proper sterile technique, and pass instruments to the surgical team during surgeries. The ST will be knowledgeable regarding the proper transport of instruments as well as ensuring that all surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are properly decontaminated, inspected, sterilized, and stored after the surgery is completed. The ST will assist with non-surgical procedures, within their scope of practice, which includes procedures in the GI Lab. The ST will perform other duties as assigned while maintaining professional communication with members of the surgical team.
