Labor and Delivery: Spacious labor and birthing suites with private baths, sit-in showers,
and tubs for your comfort. If you wish to use birthing balls or stairs
to help move labor along, our team will assist you with whatever you choose.

Pain Relief Options: Choose from IV pain medication, nitrous oxide (laughing gas), or epidurals.
If you prefer a natural birth, our experienced nurses will support and
guide you throughout the process.

Ultrasounds: State-of-the-art imaging to keep an eye on your baby's growth.

Emergency Care: Recently renovated operating rooms and advanced equipment to handle any
situation, including emergency C-sections, newborn intensive care, or
other complications. At least two registered nurses are always on standby
for any emergencies. Our nurses are trained in neonatal life support,
and we also have a certified midwife and an MD on call around the clock.
The obstetrics unit is always locked and secure, allowing for patient
privacy and safety.
The Meadowlark Initiative®
NEMHS is proud to partner with Montana Healthcare Foundation’s Meadowlark
Initiative program. The Meadowlark Initiative® integrates prenatal
care and behavioral health to improve outcomes for families. This program
combines behavioral health screening and services, care coordination and
navigation to community resources into our prenatal and postpartum care
to keep moms and babies healthy and families together.
