Surgery and Post-Surgical Care in Wolf Point & Poplar, MT

As a modernized facility, our surgical department consists of a newly remodeled (2021) operating room, one endoscopy room, one PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) and 5 procedure rooms and two of our OR nursing team members are nationally certified. The comfortable, friendly and community-oriented environment at Northeast Montana Health Services is ideal for patients who are hesitant to complete a necessary medical procedure.

Our surgical outpatient procedures include:

• Partial and full toenail removals
• Shave biopsies
• Punch biopsies
• Lesion removals
• Lesion/Wart Removal Using Cryotherapy
• Paracentesis
• Nexplanon Implants
• IUD (Intrauterine Device) Insertions
• Endometrial biopsies
• Cervical Biopsies
• Pulmonary Function Testing (PFTs)
• Pessary Insertions
• Depo-Provera Injections
• Endoscopy: Colonoscopy, Flex Sigmoidoscopy, EGD
• Skin/Soft Tissue: Melanoma, Basal/Squamous Cell Cancer, Lipomas, Sebaceous cysts, Pilonidal cysts
• Obstetric Surgeries:
• Cesarean Sections, D & C
• Pain Management Program:
• Epidural steroid injections, Facet injections, Transforaminal Injections (no oral pain medications utilized in this program,)
• Injections can last up to 3 months.
• Utilizes the C-Arm for X-Ray guidance of the needle to provide pain management
• Outpatient procedures as referred from your provider
• Pulmonary Function Tests
